Dr. Shah and PA Shah are wonderful. I have been a patient of Dr. Shah for quite some time. I would like to see much improvement administrative office procedure relating to making appointments. On several occasions now I have had to wait in line to speak to someone for 30-60 minutes. I have even left messages for a return call without success. I tried live chat only to be directed to call the office. Thankfully, I have time to try to get the service I need for my insurance.

I have been with Family Medical Center for the past 6 1/2 years, I was seen by Doctor Janovitz until he retired and now by Doctor Al-Jeed, they are the best of the best and would not think going to another medical practice. And to mention the staff, Michelle Perry is the best medical assistance I have seen in many years.

Wish they would confirm pharmacy info prior to sending out medication. Also, would like Dr to provide more info regarding what the medication is, things to look out for while taking them, and how it will help your symptoms (as I normally have to probe to get this info). My visit was with the Lab for blood work, etc. I did not have much of a wait before being called into the lab. The Phlebotomist who did my bloodwork was extremely efficient and did a great job. It is not unusual to have multiple attempts to find a vein for drawing blood. She was spot on in a location on my arm that she determined was best…one where I don’t believe anyone has tried that vein. 🙂

I always feel important and cared for when I go there. There is no rush once you see the doctor or nurse. My questions are always answered and I am seen in a timely manner

I was able to get an appointment next day for this, they drew blood and checked it on site and scheduled me a CT scan the same day. I felt like the doctor wentover/covered everything and it was in a timely manner. I was glad for that, and now waiting for results to come in.

I have been with FMC since before the retirement of Dr. Samuel Stephens. What a great doctor and kind man. Bless his heart, I know all of us miss him. After his retirement, I was lucky enough to be placed with Dr. Delgado, how lucky could I get. He is full of energy, vim and vigor, making sure his patient’s well taken care of. He keeps everyone in the office, the team, on their toes. They communicate well! He has always taken the very best care of me. Dr D is the most down to earth dr I have ever had in my 69 years. Even cooler that pediatricians, who are always “ cool “ with kids. Always friendly, knows me by name, always tells me “ straight up “ what I need to do with what he sees on my chart. Have those short life, family chats. Eva is great. I have been a patient of Dr. Delgado 4 over 20 years. I would, no I know he’s the very Best Doctor any1 could have. He listens and tries 2 get 2 the root of the problem. Dr. Delgado is very unique in that, he really puts his patients 1st. Longevity, having patients who though they have moved farther away and still can call him their Doctor is far better than having a non-caring, get them in and out of our office Doctor who is close by. I received a scan report on the “my chart site for Orlando Health” that was disturbing to me. The next morning I went to Family Med as a walk in at 7am and the staff was wonderful and worked me in to see Dr. Delgado. He had just received the report also and made the necessary referral, changes to my medications and most importantly lessened my anxiety! I have been a patient of his for many years and he and Eva have always been wonderful.

It can be stressful to go to your physician, but Dr. Parrillo, Paola, Vanessa, and Pam, and the rest of the staff are compassionate and helpful in so many ways. At today’s appointment, I benefitted from the kindness of one of the newest practice members, Miss Lee. Her assistance with my rollator and ensuring I was settled in my van was so comforting today. The office, while enormous and seemingly chaotic, seems to run fairly smoothly. Wait times were acceptable and Dr. Delgado has a nice, easy, informative manner with patients. I have not yet had to order prescriptions or refills via this office so if that proves to be easy enough, I would give 5 instead of 4 stars.

Dr. Deek is one of tho most thorough, efficient, and informative providers I have had. I’m just our first visit I was able to voice some long term health issues that have gone dismissed elsewhere and she provided knowledge, feedback, potential diagnosis and treatment plans. I felt heard without having to advocate and comforted. She is very kind. I highly recommend Dr. Deek. In addition this practice is a well oiled machine. Felt very comfortable going for my appointment. All safety measure’s were taken. Waited less then 5min. Was only one in waiting room, temp.taken at the door. And as always less then 5min,and Dr Parrillo was in the room to see me. Gizell also was great. Never really have a problem with Family Medical Center. Been going to Dr Parrillo for 15 yrs now. Their whole staff is excellent!

After a recent fall, I could not bear any weight on my left hip. I have replacement hips and I could fell some unwanted movement in my left leg. Dr. Shah got me into X-Ray the next morning and it indicated that my left hip was out of the socket. Dr. Shah sent me to the emergency room and I had my hip joint re-inserted and was back home the same day. Thank You Dr. Shah!

Waited extra long to be seen for a walk in and was the first one there but last one called due to not finding an available doctor. Pts that came in after me as walk in were seen before me. Lab representative kept insisting I go to another lab even though I insisted I wanted it to be done there verses where she was suggesting regardless of cost. Triage and front desk assistants were very nice and pleasant.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Shah for just over a year now. I’ve never been more willing to go to the doctors my entire life. He has helped with get my health on track and I feel better than I ever have. He is thorough, listens, and provides explanations to his approach to medicine. (Zolpidem) I can see myself being a patient for life with Dr. Shah and Family Medical Center.

COVID- 19 didn’t allow him to provide his signature hand shake when he greets you. That was always a signal that he acknowledge me for the time I had with him for my exam. He’s a family man that listens. We have had our moments over the years of disagreements ,but as long as my healthcare needs are taken care of we can come to a compromise. I love his staff it means a lot to keep the same consistent people. He’s not only takes care of his patients but his staff as well.

Very professional. Friendly staff. Now with the new Cov-19 they check you before going in. You can wait in your car and they txt you to come in. Laboratory x-ray and complete services in one place. Dr. Shah is a great doctor and trust me I work at a Hospital.

From the staff to the doctor, everyone makes the telemedicine visit easy and efficient. Although meeting in person cannot be replaced, this is the next best thing and it was handled very professionally. I had been a patient years ago and had to leave because of insurance reasons. Health care done well!! Doctor Parrillo and his staff are compassionate and efficient. From sign in to check out it is as pleasant as a visit for health care can be. They actually listen to the patient. Their communication with the patient technology is top rate. The fact that the Family Medical center is well equipped with medical equipment and a laboratory usually makes for a one stop visit. I like that a lot. The ability to go in on short notice for developing situations is a wonderful aspect of their practice.

It was my first time using Telemed. I was impressed with the staff, from start-to- finish the experience was excellent! Dr. Shah explain the process on how I could help him help me. He took his time to listen to my concerns and was able to identify my problem immediately. He prescribed a medicine my body was so desperately needing, the next day I was feeling much better and physically saw the affected area rapidly responding to what he recommended I take. Though I haven’t finished my treatment I am back to being myself. This experience has made me appreciate my Doctor even more. Dr. Shah thank you for saying yes to your calling! Very comfortable talking with Dr. Shah on the televisit. Awesome. Got all my questions and concerns in. I’d have no problem do it this way in the future. Especially knowing if is the way it’s going for now. Happy with it. And as a result I might be facetiming more with folks. Loved it.

This was a great experience! Easy to get on site, connecting with Dr Delgado was sooo reassuring! We laughed at the fact that we were entering into the 21st century. During these uncharted times we are living through, I’m thankful for this connection. God bless all our health workers!

I really liked the televisit. I could see and hear Dr. J clearly. just like I was in the office with him. I think this should be one of the options even after the virus pandemic is over. Thanks Family Medical Center for always being there when I need you.

This was my first Experience with Telemed and connecting with Dr Delgado. Hillary was great getting me an appointment and explaining the process. It was just like sitting in the examination room with Dr.D. Loved it. One advantage, I didn’t have to weigh in!!! Too much stress eating during this Quarantine!

I, of course, love Family Medical Center — and have for years as the “family of doctors” has cared for my own family (parents and siblings). Dr. Garcia and Michelle are incredible partners in my own health — they are caring, mindful, thoughtful and thorough… and allow me to collaborate in decisions. In today’s difficult world of covid-19, I feel comfort and relief knowing that I am “taken care of”. I had my first wellness tele-visit today — and it was fabulous! Efficient and helpful. Thank you!

My visit occurred during the covid-19 outbreak, and I must commend Family Medical for their outstanding attention to detail regarding sanitizing, masking, social distancing and creating an overall feeling of safety in their office. My care from Dr. Parrillo has always been first-rate, and everyone I have ever dealt with in the office have been respectful, pleasant, thorough and compassionate.

I’ve known Dr Janovitz for over 20 years. He and his office staff provide compassionate care in a friendly environment. They always get back to you in a timely manner and keep you informed. I recently had a telemedicine appointment, and his staff called me 15 minutes early to walk me through the steps to be sure it was successful. They care about their patients,…you never feel rushed, or that you are just a number when you go there.

Jim had a scab over a sore on his shin and his shin was turning red. I was worried it was infected and since he has Parkinson’s also worried his immune system is compromised. I felt a little silly going to see Dr. Parrillo but he made me feel better and told me always to err on side of getting medical help if needed. He is a patient and compassionate doctor and we are lucky to have him as our primary doctor!

Everything was smooth. The doctor was able to see us even though we didn’t have an appointment. The only negative item was that there was at least one person coughing in the waiting area, and that person wasn’t encouraged to wear a mask. This bothered my wife and I, especially with the corona virus spreading in this region.

I like and respect Dr Shah’s care and expertise very much. Wait times have always been at a minimum. The office is very hard to reach or get a call back for appointments and test results, however. The portal is better but it is frustrating to keep calling and not being able to get the phone picked up by a real person but instead, find yourself perpetually kept on hold.

I have been coming to Dr. Delgado for several years now. I have received nothing but top notch care. I can honestly say that Dr. Delgado saved my life by finding a condition I had just by physical exam which probably would have not been found until it was too late. Dr. Delgado, and his entire team, provide consistently high-quality care. Our entire family, ages 26 to 88, go to Dr. Delgado and he has proved himself to be a wonderful physician time and time again. He is also very well connected within the medical specialist community and has steered us toward excellent specialists, and sub-specialists, several times over the years. He is a warm, caring but no-nonsense doctor whose services we intend to use as long as possible.
