Today, Orlando Health received an additional supply of Moderna vaccines, allowing us to open more appointments. A limited number of new first dose vaccination appointments for January 12 – 15 are now available to schedule.

 

All first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for team members, medical staff and eligible community members will be provided at select Orlando Health ambulatory locations – not in hospitals – across Central Florida beginning January 11:

  • Orlando Health Medical Pavilion – Summerport, 5151 Winter Garden Vineland Rd., Windermere, FL 34787

  • Orlando Health Medical Pavilion – St. Cloud, 1330 Budinger Ave., St. Cloud, FL 34769

  •  Orlando Health South Lake Hospital Emergency Room – Blue Cedar, 22316 US Highway 27, Leesburg, FL 34748

 

Beginning Wednesday, January 13, all first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for team members, medical staff and eligible community members will be provided at these Bayfront Health St. Petersburg locations:

  • Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Hospital - 701 6th St. South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
  • Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Emergency Room – Pinellas Park, 3070 Grand Ave., Pinellas Park, FL 33782

 

Scheduling an appointment is required. There are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible participants. Please note this is a new scheduling link for first dose COVID-19 vaccine appointments at Orlando Health. Appointments are available on a first-come basis for eligible participants. Please note that first dose vaccinations are no longer being offered at Orlando Health hospitals, with the exception of Bayfront Health St. Petersburg. Those needing to schedule their second dose vaccination will soon be provided with additional information.

 

These locations will provide vaccinations for:

  • (New) Orlando Health patients who are aged 65 and older
    Orlando Health team members, volunteers and clergy members who’ve not yet received the first dose of the vaccine
  • Providers on our medical staffs who’ve not yet received the first dose of the vaccine
  • Your family and loved ones who are aged 65 and older
  • All front-line healthcare professionals not affiliated with Orlando Health (including dental staffs and EMS)
  • Residents and staff at nursing homes and assisted living facilities who have not been able to get vaccinated

 

How to participate in this voluntary vaccination program:

  • To make an appointment for a first dose Moderna vaccine at Orlando Health, visit the website URL listed above.
  • Appointments are available on a first-come basis for eligible participants.
    The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine requires two doses spaced 4 weeks apart.
  • Once you schedule your first dose, you will receive an email confirmation and with it a link to schedule your second dose.
  • Those who receive the vaccine should plan to remain in the post-vaccination observation area for up to 30 minutes.

  • A form of identification, such as a driver’s license, is required at the time of the appointment. Healthcare professionals will need proof of employment.
